Contemporary street artist, and previous Hastings resident, Ben Eine was our very first customer here at 55 Prints and has been a regular ever since.

Originally a graffiti writer and Banksy collaborator, Eine is known largely for his unique typographic style, with his bold and vibrant lettering gaining notoriety on a global scale.

His work can be seen penetrating art galleries and cityscapes across the world, as well our very own Hastings town. Notably, the vibrantly decorated shop shutters and audacious murals (one which can be seen from space!) exemplify Eine’s provocative style that has gained him collaborations with the likes of Louis Vuitton, and in 2010 David Cameron gifted one of Eine’s projects to former US President Barack Obama.

Eine’s cultivated yet recalcitrant approach allows him to occupy spaces of high-profile contemporary art and insurgent street art simultaneously, giving him an intoxicating edge that’s hard to match.
